We make stuff for people, not users. We’re Iconicast.
New Yorker cartoonist Pat Byrnes and noted Australian technologist Steve Landers co-founded Iconicast in 2010 along with tech visionary and philanthropist Dr. Michael Doyle. The three company founders share an inspired dream for creating mobile apps designed to increase the personal connections between people in today’s sometimes over connected but out of touch world.
Iconicast’s first app, Smurks, has been recognized by reviewers as:
“A supple design tool that breathes a whole new sense of being into the concept of communicating via emoticons.”
“It allows you to morph a face into an exact expression of what you are feeling literally. Then you can share it via text, email, Facebook, and Twitter adding a new emotional language to those channels. No wonder the autism community has embraced it; as it can help children on the autistic spectrum better recognize and communicate their emotions.”
It’s Me
It’s Me is another unique app from Iconicast that puts a friendlier face on iPhone caller privacy. You can choose who sees your Caller ID.
